Re: NullPointerException with Eclipse 3.7 and Ext 4.x jar

must be a matter of some error checking that is missing. It turns out that the null pointer was because I had added the jsb3 to the javascript profile but had not checked the All checkbox, nor any other checkbox. Once I checked the All checkbox the null pointer exception went away.

NullPointerException with Eclipse 3.7 and Ext 4.x jar

using the custom com.spket.js_1.6.18.jar for Ext 4.x support after installing spket in eclipse 3.7 causes a null pointer exception. Below is the stack trace Message: An internal error occurred during: "Loading Context". java.lang.NullPointerException at com.spket.js.profile.ProfileLoader.getFiles3(U...

there is a thread over on extjs where the new JSON format was converted to the old XML format so spket can have something to load. The forum post id is 357515 so if you search the extjs forum page that will find it not a permanent fix but something to get u going for anyone that uses this functional...

for extjs development

To solve the issue of dependencies not being loaded in the correct order I have written a small tool to find them and write out a .jsb file which will load them in the correct order. It looks for @class and @extends tags in addition to the
Ext.extend()
mechanism to determine inheritance...

correction: while this does generate a .jsb and it does include all libraries it does not do so in the correct order and thus breaks code complete for some libs. Some recursive method is needed to fully resolve this. I have written some perl modules to do just that, specifically with Ext libs in con...

.jsb files

if you are using spket in eclipse you can generate a .jsb file which will tell eclipse what js files to include for code complete w/ spket. I wrote this small perl script to parse our source directory & build a stripped down .jsb file (which is all that is needed for code complete) , this was writte...

I have not been able to find the jsdoc specification that states these comments are in the wrong place, I have however compiled this simple test and run it through the jsdoc-toolkit which AFAIK is the offical jsdoc project. The command used is this java -jar jsrun.jar app/run.js -t=templates/jsdoc/ ...
