Code Assist Supported after get() calls?

Post by B.Z.B » Fri Mar 11, 2011 9:05 pm

So does the Code assist not work when you use say Ext.ComponentMgr.get('ID').findById('') etc. It can only see up to the .get(), nothing after, and highlights it in red.

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I am pretty new to Ext-JS and I really wanted to see the properties of the objects that are within the .get() easily.

Am I able to apply this update in using the spket plugin in eclipse? If so would I just delete the com.spket.grammars_1.6.9 folder that is there now and drop his jar in?

**edit never mind haha I see its just underneath.

So I applied the quick update(THANKS), it does auto complete after the .get() now, but I don't see findById (ie .get('').findById('')). Is findById() deprecated now?

findById defined in Container which is subclass of Component, but get() method return Component, so it is not list
