ExtJS code assist
ExtJS code assist
Hello,
I managed to get it working in *.js files, but how can I make it work with html files?
Ex, i want to make a small script in the <head> section, between <script> and </script> tags.
I tried to associate the *.html files with the Spket IDE, but code assist doesn't work there.
Can someone help me?
Thanks

Re: ExtJS code assist
I tried Eclipse 3.6.1, it works fine, right click a html file, in context menu, select "Open With", If "Spket Text Editor" is checked, then try open the file use other editor, the code assist will not work in that editor.
Re: ExtJS code assist
What editor do you use, and with what perspective?
Did you do any editing for getting it to work?

Re: ExtJS code assist
the perspective is not important, as editor, as long as you don't use Spket Text Editor should be fine, you can try crate a new html file, open it with Text Editor, then press Alt+Shift+/, it should list something.
Re: ExtJS code assist
I tried with many editors, but it just won't work.
Guess I'll have to do all the work in the *.js files.

Re: ExtJS code assist
what's your OS? open the html file, then press Ctrl+Shift+L, or via menu Help -> Key Assist..., try find item JavaScript Content Assist and double click it, try it on an empty html file.
Re: ExtJS code assist
I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit.
It works on an empty file, but otherwise it doesn't.
Why is that?

Re: ExtJS code assist
the issue of the html parser it used, it can handle html correctly if it is not a valid xhtml
Re: ExtJS code assist
I have uploaded a quick fix, it should be more syntax friendly, you can download it here - http://www.agpad.com/downloads/com.spket.mime_1.6.8.jar
