Outline collapsing too easily...

Post by bhutten » Wed Sep 03, 2008 3:31 pm

Hi all - I don't know if this is a bug or not, so I'll post it here and see if others are having the same issue.

I'm using Spket to develop a large ExtJS application, and I make extensive use of the Spket "Outline" view, since it correctly parses classes built with Ext.extend().

The problem is:

I have a class in a namespace like "MyApp.foo.bar.MyClass". When I open that .js file, I have to click multiple times to expand the Outline to show all my class members. I then edit some code in the class, and introduce a syntax error. Spket can no longer parse the JS, so the "Outline" view is blank - that's fine. I then fix the syntax error, and the Outline view shows the class again, BUT the tree is collapsed! So then I have to click-click-click-click again on the arrows to view my class members...

Do other people have this problem? I would really like it if Spket would try harder to remember the expanded state of the Outline view...

Just wondering if there's been any progress in fixing this behaviour...
