ExtJS 'xtype' support

Post by Hacker-CB » Tue Jun 29, 2010 11:34 pm

Hello!

Can you do ExtJs 'xtype' support for code completion?

Example:

Code: Select all

var cb = new Ext.form.ComboBox({
     //code completeion works fine here
});

var cb = {
     xtype: 'combo'
     //code completeion does not works here
};
Thank you!

Ext 3.x use Ext.reg function to register xtype, I can't find these information in Ext 4.x, any one knows?

@eric:

I don't know if it helps, but as far as I know in Ext 4 the xtypes are registered by the ClassManager using the 'alias' property of each class.

For instance, if you have a class defined like this:

Code: Select all

Ext.define('MyApp.view.UserList', {
    extend: 'Ext.container.Container',
    alias: 'widget.userlist',
    ...
});
...you will automatically get the 'userlist' xtype.

It may be easier for you to look at how they're defining the framework classes, see Ext.Component or Ext.button.Button for example (look for Ext.define in the code). Or if you do have a copy of Ext 4 downloaded locally, you'll notice each of the UI classes has an 'alias' property.

Keep up the good work, I think you're doing an excellent job with Spket!
