[Openlaszlo] adjustments to recent releases

Post by pal » Thu May 28, 2009 9:16 am

Hi there,

since version 4.1 Openlaszlo got a new naming convention regarding classes in scriptcode. There's a global map 'lz' where all classes are held and creating a new class works be calling lz.mynewclass(...). For declerative creation still the old way (i.e. '<mynewclass/>') is used.

Static classes which started with Lz like LzBrowser now are accessed through lz and the class starting with a capital letter like lz.Browser.

Maybe you can give Spket another update somewhen.

If only the name changed, it is easy to fix, is there any LFC API changed? I just check the LFC source code, seems it use some new syntax which is neither JavaScript nor ActionScript. I don't think I have time to support such new syntax...
